She reads it herself and that's the whole reason to do it in audio. Nineteen hours, I ran it at 1.25 and dropped back to normal for the chapters about her dad. Queue was 88 when I joined. Worth every week of it!

Forty pages before I could reliably tell who "he" was in any given sentence. After that, marvellous. And my English isn't the problem here. Mantel does this to everybody, the four women I read with included.
