Behind the Spine
The full privacy notice lands alongside the moderation and GDPR work in a future release. Until then, the short version is below.
We store the things you tell us — your username, display name, bio, the books you shelve, the lists you build, the reviews you write. We use them to render your profile and the community surfaces, and for nothing else.
We do not sell or share your data. We do not run third-party advertising. Authentication is handled by Supabase; book metadata comes from the Google Books API.
Want a copy of your data, or want it deleted? Email hello@ibdb.example and we will sort it by hand until the self-serve tools land.
