middle book syndrome, and I say that as someone who defends middle books. the siege is genuinely great. Vin spends most of it having a feelings crisis. we do not talk about Zane. seven, and the last stretch drags it up there by itself.

The Well of Ascension reviewed by @rereader
Reread because I wanted the trilogy fresh, not because I wanted this. The siege is a stall — Vin and Elend spend eleven chapters wondering whether they're good enough for each other. That's the part I'd forgotten, and can you blame me?6 out of 10@rereader
