Half of us listened rather than read it and Yvonne kept saying "but her voice though", which isn't a point about the book. Chicago chapters lovely. White House chapters read like a press release, and I do like her.

The South Side chapters are the book. Everything after the second campaign reads as though a committee sat in on it, politely. I've reserved it twice for other people since, which is my only real measure of anything.

She reads it herself and that's the whole reason to do it in audio. Nineteen hours, I ran it at 1.25 and dropped back to normal for the chapters about her dad. Queue was 88 when I joined. Worth every week of it!
