Reader’s Note
6 out of 10
Buying this in hardback was optimistic of me. Klara herself is lovely and sad and I liked watching her work things out, but the ending left me flat, and I suspect what I wanted was Never Let Me Go again, which isn't fair on it.

Sad robot. Slow. Everyone talks the same. Why?6 out of 10@sam
Klara and the Sun reviewed by @dr_bramble
Not one plant is named in the whole novel, not one, and the meadow and the grass and the Sun have to carry the lot. Beautifully controlled, and it left me completely cold, which I suspect is a design feature I don't enjoy.7 out of 10@dr_bramble
