I have been at the bit where she loses the boot since roughly April. not because it's bad. because I keep reading something else. does that even count as a review? probably not, sorry

About this book
WildCheryl StrayedIn the Margins
Wild reviewed by @nightshiftnurse
I wanted to like this more than I did. the boots, the grief, all fine, but I kept snagging on the amount of it thats a woman being wildly unprepared and getting away with it. maybe that's just jealousy on my part6 out of 10@nightshiftnurse

only about a third in but oh, this is doing something to me. the pigs. I keep putting it down to think and then picking it straight back up again, which is really not how I usually am9 out of 10Circe
Reasons to Stay Alive reviewed by @three_chapters_in
read half of it in one go in the bath, which is maybe not the ideal setting for it. it's kind, is the thing. I've already lent it to my flatmate without finishing, which probably tells you everything.8 out of 10Reasons to Stay Alive
Mistborn reviewed by @three_chapters_in
genuinely might finish this one? I'm nearly at the end, which for me is unheard of. Vin is great. and the magic system makes actual sense, which I did not expect from a book with this many made-up words in it9 out of 10Mistborn
